IP CODES
The International Protection Code, classifies the protection given by an enclosure against the touching of live parts, contact with moving parts and protection against the ingress of solid bodies. It also specifies protection against the harmful ingress of liquids.
Two digits are used to describe its protection rating, called the IP Code.
