A standby generating set with automatic mains failure detection (amf) and changeover facilities is an ideal method of providing extended back up power during longer mains failure conditions. Generators are enclosed in a solid metal-casing, lined with acoustic insulating material and mounted on a self supporting base that does not require foundations. They benefit from forward facing lockable doors and offer easy access for carrying out routine service and maintenance work.
